Beau’s Law was signed into effect on April 13, 2026 and is due to take effect on October 1, 2026. This law requires outside dogs to be provided adequate shelter. The penalties for not abiding by this law are substantial. Pine Meadows Farm encourages all dog owners to view this new law online. 

If you are looking for a doghouse which will last for many, many years through south Alabama’s harsh climate, please contact us! We are building dog houses which we have tested on our own Anatolian Shepherds (110-200 lb. dogs). We have tried many dog houses bought from various online and store retailers and they just don’t last in southern Alabama weather.  So, we have built our own using pallets as a base. They have all lasted through the worst of storms and heat. The dogs love them and will give your guardian a safe place to go during storms without having to bring them in away from their livestock charges during storms.
